There’s been a whole load of speculation over when the upcoming Punisher Netflix series would premiere.

For anyone who’s been following the development of the series over the past few months, you’ll recall how the premiere date has been blacked out in a style highly in tune with the rest of the viral marketing campaign for the series.

This has lead everyone to try to pick out any and all clues they could to piece when the series will be out – even the most minute details were stretched.

However, to put us all to rest, we can confirm that the release date for The Punisher will be Friday 17th November.

Netflix did this reveal within their latest trailer for the series, which you can view below;

The rumours were that the series would air on or around the 11th November to coincide with Veteran’s Day, owing to Frank Castle’s military background.

Starring Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher, Ben Barnes as Billy “Jigsaw” Russo, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Micro, Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Daniel Webber as Lewis Walcott, Shohreh Aghdashloo as Farah Madani, Kelli Barrett as Maria Castle, Aidan Pierce Brennan as Frank Castle Jr., Parul Schulze as Rawlins, and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio as Marion James, Marvel/Netflix’s The Punisher will premiere on Netflix on Friday 17th October.
