On Sunday 4th February, the world (or at the very least, America) watched as the NFL hosted the Super Bowl, the 52nd in the sport’s illustrious history.
Many litres of beer were consumed as the New England Patriots faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles, with the Eagles coming out on top with a final score of 41 – 33.
Whilst many fans of the sport enjoyed the game, there was something else on offer for those of us not that interested in (America) Football; namely the half-time show and, more importantly, the advertisements which, this year, featured several teaser trailers for some of this year’s most-anticipated movies. And here’s the second (the first being Solo: A Star Wars Story); Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
The sequel to 2015’s Jurassic World, Fallen Kingdom promises to bring Owen Grady (Chris Pratt’s character) back to the fold as he is tasked with trying to save the not-so-extinct dinosaurs from…well, becoming extinct…again.
The synopsis for Fallen Kingdom reads as follows;
Four years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing return to the island of Isla Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that’s about to erupt. They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinos while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire planet.
Directed by J.A. Bayona based off a script by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stars Chris Pratt as Owen Grady, Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing, B.D. Wong as Dr Henry Wu, James Cromwell as Benjamin Lockwood, and Jeff Goldblum reprising his role as Dr Ian Malcolm. The movie will be in cinemas everywhere in the UK on 7th June.
