The Deadpool movie had one of the best advertisement campaigns of any movie in recent memory.
From the billboard posters to the mock-film posters, the social media videos, Ryan Reynolds living up to the moniker, and more besides, the team behind Deadpool hit everything, as well as the real Wade Wilson, would have done, even down to the Twitter account.
A cursory glance at the Deadpool Movie Twitter account (@deadpoolmovie) details how the Merc With a Mouth is currently following only one other page; the official Hello Kitty page (@hellokitty).
However, maybe in an attempt to get into the whole Valentine’s Day mood or simply, as Deadpool states, “…you can never have too many friends”, the Deadpool Movie Twitter is looking for new accounts to follow.
And the Merc With a Mouth wants to know who you think he should follow.
So, if you think you’re Deadpool’s biggest fan, or can think of somebody else that the account should follow ahead of this summer’s release of Deadpool 2, then why not get involved, and who knows, you could #BeDeadpools2nd.
Directed by David Leitch, Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, TJ Miller as Weasel, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus, along with newcomers Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Cable, Terry Crews and Julian Dennison in as-yet-unknown roles, and Jack Kesy who is widely speculated to be playing villainous Black Tom Cassidy. Deadpool 2 will be in cinemas everywhere from 1st June in the UK.
