Let it never be said that Netflix does not have their fingers on the pulse when it comes to their audiences.

One of the streaming giant’s most recent offerings, the Lost in Space reboot series, has made quite a stir amongst fans online.

And, no, it isn’t because of excellent story-telling, amazing CGI, or gripping character development. No, Netflix‘s Lost in Space has received a lot of chatter online thanks to the…appreciation for the character, Robot.

Yes, some people online have stated how they think Robot looks, well, sexy.

Netflix has responded to the…admiration online by posting a video superimposing some comments about Robot over footage of the “sexy” mechanised lust-magnet.

Just because Netflix is acknowledging the appreciation doesn’t mean they entirely understand it. Within the video, Netflix states;

“We’re confused too,” and, “Y’all need Jesus.”

Of course, everyone is entitled to their own particular flavour of sexual interest, and we’re not here to judge you. And besides, whether you sit on the side of the fence that thinks a fictionalised robot is sexy or not isn’t really the point, because, according to Nielson data, some 6.3 million Americans watched the series within its first three days, proving to be quite popular.

No word on how many of those 6.3 million found Robot sexy. mind.

The series, a reboot/remake of the 1960s Irwin Allen classic movie of the same name, stars Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Taylor Russell, Mina Sundwall, Maxwell Jenkins, Ignacio Serricchio, and Parker Posey, and is available to stream online now.
