To celebrate a whopping 10 years since the debut of acclaimed series Breaking Bad, the lead actors have teamed up with a teamed up with the Omaze charity for a very special and exclusive promotion.
Yes, Aaron Paul (who played Jesse Pinkman) and Bryan Cranston (Walter White/”Heisenberg”) reunited for the campaign, supporting the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Kind Campaign.
The promotion sees two lucky winners flying out to Los Angeles to cook a meal with Cranston and Paul in the iconic RV as seen in Breaking Bad.
To help promote this once in a lifetime opportunity, Omaze and Paul and Cranston produced a vignette where Paul finds his former partner-in-crime now living in the very RV the pair used to cook crystal meth in.
The video features a whole heap of comedy that features some excellent back and forth between Cranston and Paul, centred primarily on Cranston believing that Breaking Bad is getting rebooted. Since the show ended, Cranston has been having a hard time, with little going on, and so, finds himself living in the RV, complete with a bucket he uses as a toilet.
However, as the video carries on, it is revealed that Paul hasn’t had such a great time either, as he actually works at the Sony lot that houses the RV giving out tours in a way to “be close to the RV again.” The pair still exhibits that formidable chemistry (no pun intended) between each other, and their performance make you wish a new series of Breaking Bad was indeed in the works.
Whilst the duo make the video a great watch, the message behind it is equally as important. As Paul reminds Cranston and the viewer, the promotion sees one lucky winner and a friend whisked away to LA to cook with Cranston and Paul in the RV. All proceeds will go to the aforementioned Kind Campaign and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, two very noble charities doing great work in America.

2018 sees the tenth anniversary of the ground-breaking series, which helped make Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul into household names. Premiering on AMC from creator and showrunner Vince Gilligan, the series followed high school teacher Walter White (Cranston) and wastrel Jesse Pinkman (Paul) who, when the former discovers he has terminal cancer, decides to cook methamphetamine with his former student (Pinkman) to raise money to help his condition and family. As the pair get further and further into the drug business, they meet all manner of shady individuals and narrowly escape several times.
The series lasted for five seasons and ultimately won a staggering sixteen Emmy Awards, two Golden Globes and two Peabody Awards.
Fans who lament the series’ end can see prequel spin-off series Better Call Saul, on Netflix which is headed back for a fourth season soon, starring Bob Odenkirk as criminal lawyer Saul Goodman at the start of his (not so) illustrious career.
Now, what are you waiting for? Go and enter that competition, bitch!
