The House of Mouse is slowly taking over the entertainment world. If you thought Disney acquiring Marvel and Lucas Film was big news, you ain't seen nothing yet. Shall w start counting down the days until Kevin Feige announces an X-Men movie? Please let it be sooner rather than later!
Marvel's The Inhumans series has been a monumental failure for the studio. The show had a less than stellar start in life, and, if one of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars' little slip at the recent Heroes and Villains Fan Fest is anything to go by, well, it may not be long before we see the Inhumans laid to rest.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina TV adaptation is creeping up swiftly. With casting calls and rumours that include an actress of any ethnicity being eligible for the traditionally all-white lead role (and the Instagram post that may suggest Dove Cameron could be up for the role), Sabrina is definitely going to be an interesting series. And, the latest news means that sister show Riverdale and the surrounding Archieverse is starting to spread out.
With such a powerhouse behind, the Duffer Brothers seem to be able to do no wrong right now. Season 1 and 2 of their cult-hit series Stranger Things has been viewed by no fewer than 15 million people. So, as you can probably imagine, hype is high with what's next for the inhabitants of Hawkins.
UPDATE: Amazon has officially announced their involvement with the Tolkien Estate and Trust and Warner Bros. to produce a Lord of the Rings TV series. And the news came no less than 90 minutes after we reported the *possibility* on our radio show. Thanks for the timing there guys! Great news for fans of Middle-Earth
