You’re Too Slow! Sonic the Hedgehog Movie is Coming, with Deadpool’s Tim Miller On-Board

Sonic the Hedgehog is coming to the big screen, tentatively penned for either 2018, or 2019, or maybe even 2020. It's got Deadpool's Tim Miller on board and will mark the directorial debut of Jeff Fowler, a filmmaker and visual effects artist. So, there's going to be some impressive visuals and a hugely successful and well-produced movie. This is everything I could ever have wanted for Sonic. Well, that and a great 3D game post-Sonic Adventure 2 that is.

FOX and Marvel TV Presents The Gifted, A Mutant-Focused Family Adventure.

The Gifted is bringing a motley crew of ragtag Exiles to the small-screen, with Magneto's daughter Polaris, the teleporting pink mutant Blink, and the Strucker family in-tow. Things look like they might be getting hectic with that amount of mutant powers on display, but at least it'll look cool. Plus, this is the 2nd collaboration between Fox and Marvel - are we inching ever closer to that fabled time where we finally get the X-Men and Fantastic Four in the MCU?

Painkiller Jane Adds Constantine Screenwriter Christine Boylan to its Ensemble.

Painkiller Jane is heading to the big-screens. Jessica Chastain is on board to star as the titular Jane as well as help produce the movie, and Christine Boylan is executive producer. There's plenty to enjoy for fans of comics like Deadpool and Wolverine, and hopefully the independent comics will start to blossom a little more on the big screen.
