The Sonic the Hedgehog movie is eyeing up none other than Jim Carrey to take on the role of Dr Robotnik. Could the (usual) funny man bring enough to the role to be the perfect moustachioed mad scientist?
The Sonic the Hedgehog movie has officially cast its lead male and female roles. Speeding into the lead role is none other than Westworld's James Marsden and Tika Sumpter from The Haves and the Have Nots. When we first read the headline, we started to threat thinking it was James CORDEN. That would not work.
The Sonic the Hedgehog movie is racing towards cinemas, albeit, later than anyone expected. Still, Paramount has Tim Miller, Neal H Moritz, and Jeff Fowler on the case.
It's a movie that seemingly was never going to get anywhere, but now, with the help of one explosion happy director, the Lobo movie may actually be making some progress towards the big screen.
Sonic the Hedgehog is coming to the big screen, tentatively penned for either 2018, or 2019, or maybe even 2020. It's got Deadpool's Tim Miller on board and will mark the directorial debut of Jeff Fowler, a filmmaker and visual effects artist. So, there's going to be some impressive visuals and a hugely successful and well-produced movie. This is everything I could ever have wanted for Sonic. Well, that and a great 3D game post-Sonic Adventure 2 that is.
